Terrisa Bukovinac
Terrisa Bukovinac is a progressive activist, founder, and national leader in the American pro-life movement. For nearly a decade she has worked through a secular & democratic socialist framework to address the tragedy of abortion violence on demand in America.
Bukovinac is the founder of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), a leftist pro-life organization which has become a force to be reckoned with in today’s political activism landscape. She formerly founded the groundbreaking group Pro-Life San Francisco, a secular and multi-partisan group engaging in activism, providing resources for families, and participating in local and state level politics.
Bukovinac is also one of the key subjects of the critically acclaimed documentary film Battleground.

Throughout her career as an activist, she has stood for the rights of the marginalized and been visibly active in a multitude of justice oriented movements including death penalty abolition, immigration justice, nuclear disarmament, prison abolition, racial justice, immigration justice, union justice, and animal rights.
Terrisa Bukovinac knows firsthand how our current system is failing millions of Americans. She has a career spanning 27 years in community based media, 20 years in building and inspiring teams for Fortune 500 companies, and another 10 years in peaceful activism, nonprofit management, direct charity, and impactful political engagement all across the nation.

Her unprecedented discovery of late-term abortion and infanticide victims outside a Washington D.C. abortion business gave rise to the hashtag #JusticeForTheFive which has become a rallying cry for a new generation of anti-abortion activists.
